Terms of Service

Last updated

Template notice. These terms have not been reviewed by a lawyer and are not legal advice. Have them reviewed against Bulgarian and EU consumer law before relying on them.

Agreement

By using tennishud.com or the Tennis HUD analysis service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What the service does

Tennis HUD analyses videos of tennis strokes using computer vision. It estimates body positions, measures joint angles, detects stroke phases, produces an annotated video, and generates written feedback based on those measurements.

Measurements are estimates derived from video. Their accuracy depends on camera angle, lighting, resolution, framing, and whether your body stays visible throughout the stroke. They are not clinical-grade measurements.

Accounts

You need an account to upload videos. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your email secure, since email access is how sign-in works. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.

Your content

You keep ownership of every video you upload. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service: to store, process, and analyse your video, generate derived material such as annotated video and thumbnails, and show all of it back to you.

We do not publish your videos, share them with other users, or use them in marketing without your explicit permission.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Upload video you do not have the right to upload, including footage of other people who have not consented
  • Upload unlawful content, or content that infringes someone else's rights
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service
  • Resell or redistribute the analysis output as your own product

We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.

Not coaching, medical, or injury advice

This one matters. Tennis HUD produces biomechanical measurements and general technique commentary. It is not medical advice, physiotherapy, injury diagnosis, or a substitute for a qualified coach or healthcare professional.

Do not use it to diagnose or treat an injury. Changing your technique carries a risk of injury; make those changes under appropriate supervision, and consult a healthcare professional about any pain or injury.

Availability

The service is provided “as is” and we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error free, or that any particular analysis will succeed. Processing can fail on video that is too dark, too short, badly framed, or where the body is not clearly visible. We may change or discontinue features.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tennis HUD is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, for lost data, or for injury resulting from technique changes made on the basis of the analysis. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Termination

You may stop using the service and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend access for breach of these terms. On termination, your content is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and will change the date at the top of this page when we do. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria, and disputes will be handled by the competent courts of Bulgaria.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer provisions in your country of residence, and you may also bring proceedings there.
